Bellmere runs from Wararba Creek on the east to the Caboolture River on the south, with the D'Aguilar Highway passing to the north-east. It was a rural locality until recently and still has acreage, but the Caboolture West growth area has brought new estates, a new state school in 2016 and, in 2023, new localities carved out of its edges.
That mix shows in the plumbing. New homes have modern PVC drains, tempering valves and often a heat pump or gas unit; the older blocks have long supply lines, tanks, pumps and drains that roots find. Low ground near the river and the creek takes the stormwater when a summer storm comes through.
